He rolled his eyes, and the comment slipped out of his mouth before he even thought about it, "Bet it's easy to play dumb when you're not much smarter than you're pretending to be." He thought about the comment... it wasn't that bad, in his mind anyway. He'd said worse and better. He was a lot smarter than people gave him credit for. Just not going to classes and being a pushover made people think he was an idiot.

"Things in the movies are rarely what happen in real life," he replied. In the movies, there's always some unlikely hero that saves everyone and the bad guys die and the good guys live happily ever blah blah blah. In reality, good guys lose most of the time, evil runs the world, and the little guy usually ends up getting killed in the crossfire between the two sides. Things rarely turned out like they do in the movies.

"I find the dead are a lot easier to get along with then the living," he said, looking up from his book for the first time. It was a rather dark thing to say, but something he believed was true. The living were judgemental and dark. The dead were quiet... peaceful... incapable of judgement anymore. Graveyards were always quiet, mourners rarely making much noise when they were there. However, he usually hung out in the back of the graveyard, where there were graves dating back to the 1800s.

That was one of the few times he would ever fight back... if he saw someone desecrating a grave. It was rare that he would have to do more than hit them once... and he'd never had to use his powers. He rarely did... he kept them contained. He could barely control a ball much bigger than a ping-pong ball anyway. He needed... help in that department. But he was afraid to ask for it... he was afraid to let someone back in his head to reverse the damage the telepath had done.

Alexis’s mouth opened and closed like a fishes as she searched for a witty answer. She frowned and crossed her legs, giving a dismissal grunt, not finding anything to retaliate back with that would sound stupidly childish.

“ I hate grave yards…I find it hard not to cry when I’ in or very close to one…I the thinking of those who have died young and too early…those who should still be hear today” she said looking down sadly. It was true; she would al ways end up in tears, even if she went to talk to her dad to tell him something happy. Thinking about it now, it made her heart heavy there where more people than just her parents that she missed, that had passed on before it was there time, while they where still young…while they where still needed.

( srry its so short)

"I don't think that graveyards are as depressing as most people think they are. Quiet... peaceful... no one daring to break the forsaken silence," he said solumnly. Most wouldn't agree with what he was saying, but he enjoyed it in the graveyards. However... defacing the graveyards and the graves, in his mind, was unforgivable. Three students with gashes in their arms could testify to that. Back when he'd had control of his abilities, he'd attacked them while they were there... knocking over graves for fun.

He supposed that'd been what'd started the 'Demon of Westchester' urban legend. "Disturbing the peace with violence is unforgivable."

He stopped and looked at the graves sometimes... imagining what those burried there were like. He didn't know many of them... or any of them. Even in the front of the graveyard where the freshly burried were. The only grave he recognized belonged to the man he'd killed... the man he'd... killed. It'd been self defense, but he wasn't one to think of that. In his mind, he'd killed him, and that was all there was to it.

Alexis hopped of the desk and went over to one of the book shelf scanning over the titles before finding an interesting one. She pulled it from the shelf and headed back to the table. “I love this book, my dad used to read it to me all the time, he taught me to read from the child version of this story” she said softly showing him the title; Alice in wonder land.
“ I also love the film…but no where near as good as the book” she added before opening it her yes scanning over the words. “You never told me what your reading…theres not title on it” she said looking up from her book.

Her blue eyes once again found them selves glancing over him again, but once she realised what she was doing she averted her eyes away from him back to her book. No matter how many times she ready it she would learn something knew about it, something she didn’t quiet catch last time. It was like it added little parts every time she read it.

“ do you read much?” she asked turning the page before sticking her finger in her mouth after getting a paper cut.

"It's one of my favorite's too... even if it is a little... messed up," he replied, seeing the title of the book. The Mad Hatter was based off of men who made hats who got metal poisoning. The catepiller was smoking a bong... the movie was bad enough. The book was worse. Of course, there were other classics that were like ten times worse. Gulliver's Travels for instance.

He flipped over his book for a moment, removing the book cover that was on it that was covering up the title. The Illiad. There was someone in the building who seemed to think that the greek demi-gods were really mutants... which he believed to be honest. Apocalypse was 'supposedly' the first mutant. But who knew? Maybe there were more before him.

"The Illiad... translated into English," he said. Of course it was translated... who knew what language though. He sighed as he looked over the book, rubbing his temple. "Sorry about the comment," he said, finding his regular personality and overdrive guilt kicking in, "I'm just a bit annoyed from all the noise in the mansion today."

His usual shyness was beginning to take effect as well. Apparently he'd been away from the noise long enough for his annoyance to disappate enough that he was becoming his normal self. "Yeah... I guess..." he said. Why am I like this... he thought. He had to ask Clara... someone... anyone... to go in his mind and fix him. He didn't know or care who at this point... just the problem was actually ASKING them. He was terrified of telepaths.

“I love the mad hatter; he’s off his head…my mom once did a photo shoot as a female version of the mad hatter. Its one of my favourite pictures that where taken of her” she said sighing and looking down for a moment thinking of her mother. She missed her so much, she cried most times she thought off her. Whipping her eyes just as a tear began to fall, she hid her face in the book, listening to his words.

“ its ok, its probably true” she mumbled closing the book, not quiet feeling up to reading the book, she could just feel her father sat next to her reading it, like he had done when she was little.
